Cerebral Palsy State Conference

Staff and individuals from QCP were recently acknowledged at the Cerebral Palsy of New York State Annual Conference in Albany, New York.

Congratulations to Jacqueline Rodriguez, recipient of The Al Felmet Achievement Award, which recognizes individuals who have overcome the challenges of cerebral palsy and whose achievements are an inspiration to others. Jackie has worked hard to be independent and is a leader at her residence and QCP Day Habilitation Program. QCP is very proud of her accomplishments.

Also recognized was Rennicka Henry-Reese, a habilitation assistant in the Bellerose Day Services Program since 2011. Rennicka enjoys working with the individuals in her classroom to reach their goals and get out into the community. She is focused on making sure that person-centered approaches are taken for all individuals.

Tara DeLaine, Activities Coordinator at QCP’s Day Habilitation Program, was recognized at the event for her positive work ethic and dedication to the individuals served by the agency. QCP was also proud to have Elvadeen Huie, a direct support professional for residential Services, and Jennifer Bommarito, Education Coordinator at QCP’s Children’s Center, honored at the conference for their dedication and positive attitude.
