QCP Delivers Love to Local Rehab and Nursing Homes

Queens Centers for Progress Day services program participants were warmly welcomed at Meadowpark Rehabilitation and Chapin Home for the Aged. In the spirit of sustainability and recycling, donated Flowers are being recovered, repurposed and turned into beautiful arrangements that are then delivered to locations nearby to help brighten the environment and cheer people up! In addition to the flowers being repurposed the containers are made out of recycled items to create beautiful displays! Shown here are QCP program participant Helen with Kathy Ferrara, Activities Director at Chapin Home for the Aged and Shamika Holder, Director of Activities at Meadowpark Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
