Karis Davis, RN – Recipient of the CP State Natalie Rogers Employee of the Year

Karis Davis was announced as this year’s winner for the prestigious Natalie Rogers Employee of the Year Recognition Award which she will receive at this year’s CP Associations of NYS Annual Conference on Monday, October 20, 2014. This award recognizes a staff member who has set the highest standard of excellence in their support of people with disabilities. Karis’ outstanding efforts and dedication have helped QCP fulfill its mission by providing person-centered services and promoting independence for the 78 individuals she works with. As the Residential Nursing Supervisor she provides training and support to our residential medical team and goes far beyond her duties by ensuring that individuals, staff and families understand their medical conditions, and are comfortable dealing with them. With Natalie Rogers being an active member on QCP’s Board of Directors, we are highly honored to receive this recognition in her name. As QCP celebrates our 65th Anniversary helping people in the community, this award means even more to Ms. Davis, Mrs. Rogers, and the QCP staff, volunteers and Board of Directors. Congratulations Karis Davis! Queens Centers for Progress is so very fortunate to have you on our team!
