2016 Years of Service Awards

QCP recognized 85 staff members on November 21, at the Years of Service Awards Ceremony.  The theme was the Rio Olympics with an added Madi Gras twist.  The Auditorium was beautifully decorated by staff and individuals with healthy snacks and light refreshments for all.  Of the 85 staff members recognized, over 25 have been with the agency for over twenty years! Achilles Queens and SJU Women’s Track and Field Team Host QCP Individuals for Weekly Workouts

Achilles International, an organization whose mission it is to empower individuals with any type of disability by training them for mainstream sporting events, has teamed with the St. John’s Women’s Track and Field Team to host people served QCP Day Services programs for weekly track workouts. Jamaica Rotary Club Brings Good Cheer to Adults and Children at QCP All Year Long

The Jamaica Rotary Club is planning to drop off hundreds of toys and other goods to QCP during two events in December. On Dec. 7, Rotary Club members – including NYPD police officers from Queens South’s 102nd, 103rd and 113th precincts – will distribute socks and lunch boxes to over 160 adults at QCP’s Bellerose Center.
