As we reflect on our 30th Annual Golf Outing, the feeling that remains above all else is gratitude.
What began 30 years ago as a single course golf outing has grown into something truly extraordinary. This year we welcomed 500 people to our opening night party, 489 golfers filled five courses, 35 people played Pickleball and 620 guests joined us for dinner. Friends and partners from near and far came together once again in support of QCP and the people at the heart of our mission.
The success of this event represents so much more than one remarkable day. It creates opportunities, encourages independence, supports meaningful employment, strengthens our residences and programs, and helps build brighter futures for the children and adults we serve. It also reminds our individuals, families and staff that an entire community believes in them.
We are deeply grateful to The Home Depot, their vendor partners, the QCP Golf Committee, our Board of Directors, staff, volunteers and every person who attended, contributed, planned, organized or simply asked, “How can I help?” Each of you played a part in making this milestone celebration possible.
We were also incredibly proud to honor Paul Lundholm, whose warmth, generosity and leadership have inspired so many people to become true friends and champions of QCP. Paul helps others see beyond the event to understand the lives being changed, and his dedication continues to strengthen our mission.
Thirty years of this partnership have created an impact that reaches far beyond the golf course. To everyone who has been part of this journey, whether from the beginning or for the first time this year, thank you. QCP is stronger because of you, and the future is brighter because you care.
