QCP Day Habilitation (164th Street) Tennis Program

We’ve had another great year of tennis with the aid of Point Set Tennis Club in Oceanside, NY (who, without reservation, donated court time and provided excellent Pros), and the Eastern Adult Tennis Foundation (who, once again, generously provided grant monies to fund this tennis program). QCP Annual Gala A Great Success

Queens Centers for Progress held our Annual Gala and 65th Anniversary Kick Off Celebration at Terrace on the Park on Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Bellerose Day Services Spring Art Show

Staff and individuals at the Bellerose Day Services Program showed off their Recycled Artwork at the Program this week. Each classroom was given an object to create their masterpieces from….many using recycled objects to do so!Rigaud showed off his classroom’s original “DREAM CATCHER” project that started off with a recycled frame. Health And Wellness Fair

QCP’s Health Fair and Wellness Fair was held on February 12, 2014 by the Human Resources Department at both the Jamaica and Bellerose Centers. Health and Financial Fitness information was given out and discussed with staff while medical technicians helped with the biometrics – blood pressure, height/weight, blood sugar, cholesterol, etc. Here are some photos from this informative fair.
