Jamaica Rotary Club Distributed Toys To Children With Developmental Disabilities At QCP’s Holiday Event With The Help Of The NYPD

The Jamaica Rotary Club gave out more than 250 toys to children at the Children’s Center on Wednesday, December 17 with the help of the NYPD. Sponsored by the Jamaica Rotary Club and with the help of the NYPD, it was a great day.

“The annual toy giveaway was a heartfelt event,” said QCP’s Director of Development Maryann McAleer. “The children are so happy to see Santa and we are truly thankful for the Jamaica Rotary Club’s generosity to distribute a toy to each child.”

The Jamaica Rotary Club—including at least 25 Rotary members, along with police officers from Queens South’s Precincts—has been distributing toys to more than 200 children at QCP’s Children’s Center for 15 consecutive years. Again this year, Jamaica Rotary Club President Joe Iaboni played the part of Santa, while Maurice was Frosty the Snowman. All donated toys come from individual members of the Rotary Club and NYPD. Following the visit, QCP provided a delicious lunch to thank all participants. QCP is so fortunate to have the Rotary and NYPD at their side! THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!
