In support of Prostate Cancer awareness month, our topic will be an introduction on what the prostate gland is and its function, as well as common prostate issues. The main focus will be on Prostate Cancer where we will give an overview on prostate cancer screening guidelines and what a prostate needle biopsy entails. Finally, there will be a brief discussion on prostate cancer treatment options and the risks and benefits of each option.
