QCP is an agency that helps provide services to children & adults with developmental disabilities.
HAPPY EARTH DAY FROM QCP. QCP's Children's Center promotes keeping the Earth clean by recycling and cleaning up as we go. This is Miss Liz' class with some of their projects made from recycled materials.
Mahadaye works with Imtiaz on Math problems and helps with using money and how to count change at QCP's Bellerose Day Services Program. To help keep our programs running with great staff, please urge your legislators to include a true 3.2% COLA for the I/DD Service Sector and Direct Support Wage Enhancement in the 2025 Budget. #investinme #nydadayofaction #MoreThanWork
As you’re aware, budget talks are still ongoing and could be settled at any time over the next few weeks. Now, it is more important than ever that we use this time to make our voice heard. That’s why we’re doing everything we can to urge Governor Hochul and the State Legislature to #InvestInME! by including true 3.2% cost-of-living-adjustment (COLA) increase for the nonprofit I/DD service sector and Direct Support Wage Enhancement (DSWE) in the SFY 2025 Enacted Budget.![]()

Michael is telling Classroom Aide, Shikha, what he wanted to work on next. QCP's large, bright, well-equipped classrooms and recreational areas allow children space to grow and flourish. The Children’s Center offers an array of options for parents of both typically developing (non-disabled) preschoolers and children with disabilities. Caleb attends QCP's Children's Center where he receives occupational and physical therapy. The carpenter helps construct adaptive furniture which is available to be loaned to families for home use. Electronic devices can be provided to assist with communication for nonverbal students. In addition, our school helps families purchase necessary adaptive equipment. Our staff is knowledgeable about the various forms of insurance, Medicaid and grant funding available to cover the expenses of the special services needed for home use by children with developmental disabilities.
