Centers for Progress understands your concerns and right to
privacy on the Internet. Our Privacy Policy for the web site is
detailed below. We also provide easy access to this policy on
every page of our web site. However, it is important to note
that Queens CP is not responsible for the privacy practices of
any web site that is linked to us. Questions regarding this

Financial Transaction Security
We, at Queens Centers for Progress, thank
you for your generous support and we have taken every measure to
ensure the security of all of your online transaction with us.
Your donations, to our organization, come to us via a service
provider called JustGive.org. Online giving through them is
strictly permission-based: You control the use of
your name, your personal information, and your donation.
JustGive.org uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) online technology,
which encrypts the data you provide. This means that sensitive
information, such as your credit card number, becomes unreadable
to anyone who wrongly intercepts the information.
We also take extra measures to secure your
personal information off-line. Only authorized personnel within
our organization, who deal exclusively with your donation, are
granted access to your personal information.
Personally Identifiable Information
Information like your name, mailing
address, telephone and fax number, email address constitute what
is called Personally Identifiable Information. Queens Center for
Progress does not collect personally identifiable information
unless it is voluntarily given to us. If you make a donation in
memory or honor of another individual, the same policy applies
to that individual’s personally identifiable information.
Aggregate Information
In addition to the information provided to
us by our visitors, we use standard internet tracking tools that
collect general information about the traffic to our site. Like
other non-profit organizations we collect only aggregate
information for traffic analysis. This includes: total number of
visitors, most visited sections, peak traffic times, category of
domains visiting our web site, etc. We use this information to
improve the quality of our web site for our visitors and
increase your satisfaction with our services.

We, at Queens Centers for Progress, occasionally may make
changes to our Internet Privacy Policy or alter the
