Staff Appreciation Reception

 On October 11, 2011, QCP honored over 100 staff who reached milestones with the agency.  There was music, food, prizes, trivia games by Harriet Perry, the Director of Personnel, and gifts for different milestones including Citizen watches and Cross pens for 20 Years and above. 

Nancy Glass, the Director of the Children’s Center reached 40 Years of Service; Dr. Brower from the Clinic reached 35 Years of Service and there were ten staff who made 30 Years of Service including:

Brandon Burke, Carine Castrigno, Sue Feig, Karen Garbushian, Ruth Grunhoff, Phyllis Horne, Charles Houston, Sherry Miller, Cindy Perkins, and Jose Pimentel.

In the 25 Years of Service category , staff included Audrey Axelson, Johanna Buser, Rhonda Diener, Susan Fenster and Beatriz Haley. 

For 20 Years, staff included Gail Bradbard Baruch, Jaime Chaves, Jackie Cullen, Ya-Lan Hong, Carol Liss, Janet Malandrakis, Fredlynn Mompoint, John Pappas, Nelta Philogene, Margaret Reid and Kate Valli.

There was also 17 staff celebrating 15 Years; 30 staff celebrating 10 Years and 33 staff celebrating 5 Years of Service!       

The theme this year was the FOUR SEASONS – how QCP embraces change and encourages and promotes diversity.  The actual seasons were represented in different areas of the room including winter in the back of the room, summer was up front by the stage and spring and summer were located on either the sides.  Program participants helped decorate this year and it was truly a team effort that transformed out auditorium into four seasons! 

The QCP Board of Directors were invited and many showed up from their very busy schedules to share the day with staff.   Charles Houston was presented with a tribute from the board for his 30 Years of Dedicated Service to QCP.  The board of directors purchased a Medical Cart for our Clinic in honor of Charlie’s 30 Years of Service.
