2009 CP of NYS Annual Conference - November 2-4, 2009

The Saratoga Hilton

Each year, QCP attends the Annual CP State Conference.  This year it was held at The Saratoga Hilton.  The following staff were recognized at the Tuesday Evening President’s Dinner held on November 3, 2009.  Congratulations to all.  QCP is fortunate to have such great staff working with us to provide the best possible care and services to the participants in our programs.

JOYCE MADHOO, LPN – BELLEROSE DAY PROGRAM

Ms. Madoo has been employed as an LPN at QCP's Bellerose Day Hab for 4 years where she serves individuals with challenging medical conditions.  She possesses exemplary nursing skills and has been an excellent advocate who has warmed the hearts of those she serves.

MARY HOLLENBECK, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST AT QCP'S CHILDREN CENTER

Mary has been a dedicated employee at QCP's Children Center since 1987.  Early on, Mary had a proficiency in recommending appropriate adaptive equipment for the children.  In addition to her primary clinical position as an Occupational Therapist, she is the agency's Home Equipment Grant Liaison, providing assessments for adaptive equipment for home use throughout Queens County.  Mary is known as the SNOW CONE LADY during the Summer Program demonstrating her enthusiasm for making the program fun.  She is a wonderful asset to Queens CP!

MARGUERITE (MAGGIE) CERILLO, JOB DEVELOPER AND FOLLOW-ALONG COACH

Maggie's passion for what she does has been evident from the start.  She has been juggling two different job assignments at QCP for some time.  As a Job Developer she has an amazing knack for getting to the right people to sell our Supported Employment Program; as a Follow-Along Coach her high energy and enthusiasm are just part of her untiring commitment to her consumers’ success.  Always anxious to increase her skills, Maggie enjoys attending training sessions and sharing what she has learned with her co-workers.
