2009 QCP Golf Outing
The 2009 QCP Golf Outing was held on September 17, 2009 at the beautiful North Hills Country Club in Manhasset, Long Isand. It was a great day for all.
QCP is extremely fortunate to have The Home Depot as our major sponsor for this event. The Golf Outing continues to be QCP’s most important fund-raising event of the year. This year we were very pleased to honor Jim Kane, President of The Home Depot’s Northern Division. It was our best year ever with 39 Corporate Sponsors who contributed $5,000 or more to QCP. We had such a great turnout that we golfed at a second course - - the Garden City Country Club. Golfers were transported via party limousines to Garden City and returned to the dinner and festivities back at North Hills.
Earlier this year a group from The Home Depot, joined by a number of generous corporate sponsors, visited our Children’s Center to see first-hand the work we do there, and how the proceeds of this event will benefit the children we serve.
