Donate Your Used Car, Boat or RV to QCP and Receive a Tax Deduction and a Vacation Certificate

Donating a vehicle you no longer use to QCP could be tax deductible.  In addition, you will be helping QCP generate needed funds when we sell it to a responsible broker.  The funds from your vehicle will help us continue our vital work to help individuals with developmental disabilities lead fulfilling, independent lives.

What can I donate?

We accept most vehicles and vessels including but not limited to cars, trucks, trailers, boats and RV’s.

My car hasn’t run in years.  Can I still donate it?

Yes, we are able to accept most vehicles running or not (exceptions include some older vehicles whose value would not offset the cost of towing).

What do I need to donate my vehicle?

We would like the title to the vehicle, but if you do not have it please call us anyway.  It is possible that other arrangements can be made.  Please call us toll free at (866) UCP-4646.

How does tax deduction work?

The IRS allows you, the taxpayer, to claim a tax deduction of the value of your vehicle up to $500 or if we sell the vehicle for more than $500 we will mail you a completed IRS tax for 1098-C with that value for your tax purposes.

How do I receive my free vacation certificate?

After your donated vehicle has been picked up call us toll free at (866) UCP-4646 to obrtain your ID number. Then complete the Vacation Certificate Request Form and your certificate will be mailed to you.  Visit www.TriplePlayTrips.com to read and understand the complete terms and conditions to activate your certificate.
