Located at 81-15 164th Street near Queens Hospital
Center, the Adult Center is a 105,000 square
foot facility built in 1974. It houses our administrative
offices and is the base for many of the agency’s
adult services, including our vocational training
workshops, non-residential day services and
day treatment program.
Here also are based QCP’s Day Habilitation
and other community-based programs, including
the Supported Work program, and the GOALS program
for senior citizens with developmental disabilities.
About 250 people staff this facility.

First constructed in 1958, the QCP Children’s
Center is located a block away from the Adult
Center at 82-25 164th St., Jamaica. It was doubled
in size in 1966, and has 30,000 square feet
of space. Formerly the home of our vocational
services as well, it now houses all our children’s
services, including Early Intervention,
Preschool,
and Children’s Center School. Approximately
125 staff members work here.

Located at our secondary campus at 249-16 Grand
Central Parkway, Bellerose, QCP’s 32,000
square foot building is devoted entirely to
day treatment, therapy and life skills training
for the most severely disabled. The staff consists
of therapists, nurses and psychologists.
Also located on the Bellerose campus are five
residential buildings, each of which houses
10 people with multiple or severe developmental
disabilities in a home-like setting. These facilities
are staffed 24 hours a day by direct care staff,
a housekeeper, and clinical staff.
Approximately 225 staff members work at the
Bellerose campus.
