TITLE: Eligibility Specialist
PROGRAM: Billing

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Prepare Medicaid applications for persons with developmental disabilities and/or their families. Assist with Medicaid recertifications and all other processes that will ensure continued eligibility.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: HS diploma/GED plus one year experience in Medicaid Application processing. Familiarity with NYS Medical Assistance Program and Federal/NYS Entitlement Programs (SSI/SSDI) and bilingual English/Spanish skills required.

TITLE: Applied Behavior Specialist (ABSS)
PROGRAM: Residential

SUMMARY OF POSITION: PProvide psychological services utilizing treatment methods of individual and group counseling. Conduct testing, prepare evaluation reports, and document interventions in psychological treatment services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: MA degree plus one year related experience in psychological treatment services.

TITLE: Job Coach
PROGRAM: Supported Employment

SUMMARY OF POSITION:  Provide on-site skills training for people with developmental disabilities, perform job tasks for enrollees as necessary and function as a liaison between work site and agency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  HS Diploma or equivalent (some college preferred) and related experience. NYS Driver’s license and own car required.

TITLE: RN Administrator
PROGRAM: Residential

SUMMARY OF POSITION:  Manage round-the-clock residential nursing services. Oversee the health care of 85 developmentally disabled individuals, supervise nursing staff, maintain OMRDD standards.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  BA, Licensed RN with minimum 3 years supervisory experience in similar setting required.

TITLE: Residential Supervisor FT
PROGRAM: Residential

SUMMARY OF POSITION:  Oversee the daily operations of a 10 bed ICF including but not limited to: coordination of client services, supervising staff activities, writing reports, conducting meetings and training; other administrative duties.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  BA Degree in related human services field plus prior supervisory experience. Good writing and interpersonal skills. Must be able to juggle multiple priorities.

TITLE: Cook/ Housekeeper FT
PROGRAM: Residential

SUMMARY OF POSITION: : Duties entail preparing meals, purchasing food and household supplies, maintaining food inventory and performing housekeeping tasks such as mopping and laundry.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma or equivalent, along with a valid New York State driver’s license for one year is required.

TITLE: Shift Supervisor
PROGRAM: Residential

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of an ICF/IRA for adults with developmental disabilities. Coordinate staff schedules, plan and implement recreational activities, maintain resident and house funds, and oversee the maintenance of facility.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Associate’s degree preferred plus minimum 2 years related experience. NYS Driver’s License required. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.

TITLE: Direct Care Worker (Various Shifts) FT/ PT
PROGRAM: Residential

SUMMARY OF POSITION: Provide comprehensive care to adults with developmental disabilities in their homes. Work on ADL goals, assist with personal hygiene needs, perform housekeeping tasks and escort clients on recreational activities.

REQUIREMENTS: HS Diploma or equivalent, valid New York State driver’s license required for one year. Prior work experience in a human service field with individuals with physical disabilities is preferred.
