The individuals with developmental disabilities
in QCP’s WorkSource Center employment training
and work programs are a ready, willing and able
work force for business and industry in the
New York metropolitan area. We can provide contract
packaging and assembly work done on site, or
place employees in positions in businesses throughout
the community. Our programs provide support
staff to ensure quality work and success in
the workplace, and all the participants in the
program are paid for their work in accordance
with U.S. Department of Labor guidelines.

QCP
WorkSource Work Center’s training shops, located
at 81-15 164th St, Jamaica, provides:
• Hand Assembly and Packaging – Collating, stapling
and gluing, envelope inserting and sealing,
sorting and weighing, poly-bagging and heat
sealing.
• Shrink Wrapping – both automated and by hand.
• Skin Packaging and die cutting.
• Blister Packaging – on automated equipment.
The
WorkSource Work Center provides superior quality
control, fair pricing, reliable scheduling,
quick turnaround, and tailgate loading docks
for convenient transportation. We have developed
long-term relationships with many metro-area
businesses.

QCP’s WorkSource Center offers trained, pre-screened
personnel to meet entry-level staffing needs
in such areas as:

Food Service • Supermarkets • Restaurants
• Retail Sales • Assembly & Packaging •
Porter/Maintenance
Our
personnel have come through our Vocational Training
Programs, where they have learned not only jobs
skills, but the importance of getting to work
on time, getting along with co-workers, and
learning how to work with a supervisor.
